Sequel Police shootout[]
Hi! There's an easier way out of this; at least if you're using a modern day machine with DosBox, or, god forbid, an older machine.
What's all this "evading the SQ police" bullshit? All you have to do is, once you've made 'em appear at the arcade hall, is run down the moving walkway to the RIGHT until you get to the exit towards the Skate-o-Rama in front of the Radio Shack/Hz So Good store. Then, move the game speed ALL THE WAY UP (also, save your game; you may never know). Move into the rink; immediately head upwards -- click where it says "VII" in the "Space Quest VII" status bar; that means in the middle of the uppermost part of the screen). If you have the speed all the way up and you're using DosBox instead of some ridiculous slowdown-utility, you should make it. Just go to the left as soon as you make it, the haul ass LEFT, then DOWNwards and TOWARDS the stairs. I did it, and I was drunk. That's a clear sign that your unsuccessfulness includes stripping naked and being branded as somebodys bitch during the rest of your highschool life.
Also, this only applies to the cd-version. Your mileage may, and probably will, vary. Especially if you're playing the disk version. 'Cos they actually programmed that right.
