Space Quest X--Latex Babes of Estros (Adults Only!), is a Space Quest time sector.

Background Edit

It is follow-up to an event in which (a future) Roger had once been in close touch with the Latex Babes of Estros (during the time between SQV and SQ6 time sectors), and at the time had been two-timing Beatrice Creakworm Wankmeister[1]. Roger Wilco from Space Quest 4 visited this time sector some time after his future self had first encountered the Latex Babes back between SQV and SQ6.

The Galaxy Galleria exists in this time period.

Roger's existence in this era is not known. This era has been effectively split into two timelines apparently caused by Sludge Vohaul's many petty revenge schemes, changing certain elements of the sector including the names of the shops, and how Roger escapes from the sequel police.

Roger or Beatrice's existence and whereabouts during this time sector are not known, and its possible that they had long 'disappeared/died' before this time (perhaps as early as Space Quest VII: Return to Roman Numerals (time sector)). In fact, this time period only seems to get its name from the fact that Roger time travels there and is captured by the Latex Babes (indicating a parodox), something his missing self couldn't have actually done.

Behind the scenesEdit

  • You can actually return to Estros after stealing the time pod in the Galaxy Galleria. This allows the player to explore previously-inaccessible parts of the area. It is mostly pointless, however.
  • This specific time sector may only exist due to the paradox of Roger traveling their via time travel. If he had not travelled to that specific time, he may not have actually encountered the Latex Babes of Estros "again" from their perspective, or rather his "first time" from his perspective (relatively speaking). Had Roger not two-timed Beatrice with the Latex Babes between SQ5 and SQ6, this future might have been avoided altogether, although that in itself would have created yet another paradox.
