Space Quest Omnipedia
SQ-title

Space Quest, SQ for short, is a series of graphic adventure games created and designed by Mark Crowe and Scott Murphy from 1986 to 1996. This six part adventure features exploration, inventory-based puzzles, and a sense of humor. They also include sci-fi themes and pop cultural references. Five of the six games were developed and published by Sierra On-Line while the fifth game was created by Dynamix. There were plans for a Space Quest 7, but they were repeatedly dropped. The franchise is currently owned by Activision.

There still remains an active community which, among other things, has released (and plans to release) fangames of its own, dedicated to the memory of Space Quest.

The Space Quest Collection pack can be purchased at the Steam Store while Space Quest 1+2+3 and Space Quest 4+5+6's bundles are sold separately at Good Old Games. The original physical copies of the games are a little harder to obtain, but they can be found at online stores such as Amazon and EBay. There are also several Fan Games which have either been released, are in production or are cancelled. See Fan Main Page.
